FCCB #302-Graduation and Winner of #300-Mother's Day Blog Hop

First of all, crafty peeps, I would like to apologize for just now posting the winner of my blog candy for the Mother's Day Blog Hop.  I put all the names in a hat (literally, since I don't have the random thingie).

My blog candy winner is Sunshine Honeybee.  Please contact me at with your address so I can send your prize to you.  Also, since I am so late, if I don't hear from you in a couple of days, I will contact you on your blog.

Our challenge this time is to create a graduation project.  Our sponsor is

Dreaming Tree

The winner will receive a $20 Gift Certificate!

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.

If it isn't a card, you will get two entries into the drawing!

For this new challenge, I created a card for my neighbors' grandson, who is graduating from high school in Alabama.  I made a money holder since his gift was cash.  Here it is:

This is the inside:

Of course, I used his school colors, maroon and gold.  I decorated the inside with stamps and die cut stars. In the picture, it's hard to tell where the money is inserted, but it's above the maroon star on the right.  I should have put money in it when I took the picture. The graduate has received the card, and we were told he liked it. I've never made a money holder before, but I'm sure now that I will again. This was fun.

Be sure to enter our challenge.  Let us see what you made for graduation!

613 Avenue Create #197-ATG Option Create a Container

Happy today, fellow crafters!  Our challenge this month at 613 Avenue Create is to make an ATG.  The option is to make a container.  I decided to go with the option.  I saw a quick and easy video on YouTube for making a diaper fold treat holder.  Here's a link to the video.  And here's my treat holder.  I think this is a cute variation on the traditional tea bag holder.

I random stamped white paper to create the pattern of roses.  The lighting of the photo is a bit off so it doesn't show well, but it's pretty in real life.  (Are you like me?  I really missed using my MISTI - LOL!)  I used a punch for the label and stamped the sentiment.  Then I inserted the tea bag.  It will hold candy or any other small treat you'd like.

This is a great party favor or a perfect way to just give a small token to a friend or family member. You can, of course, use double-sided paper rather than stamping your own.

I hope you decide to join the challenge.  We love seeing your wonderful and creative projects.

Here is our blog hop list for Mother's Day challenge #300!
Here's my Mother's Day Project:

Cricut Cartridge:  Everyday Pop-Up Cards
Card stock:  My stash
Bling & Baker's Twine:  My stash

I made the tea pot into a card by cutting two light pink images and gluing them together together at the top after adding the hot pink overlay.  I also cut the flowers and added bling to the centers.  I hand wrote Happy Mother's Day on the tag and attached it to the handle with Baker's Twine.

I actually collect tea pots so I enjoyed making this shaped card.  I may even make a few more later!

And I have a bit of Blog Candy:

Become a follower, if you are not already, and leave me a comment.  I will randomly choose a winner from the comments and send that person the blog candy.  I will announce the winner on May 10.
